Demandan al DOE para salvar escuela
 Nueva York— Los padres de la escuela 132 "Juan Pablo Duarte", de Washington Heights, decidieron esta vez "golpear" primero, luego de sufrir los "embates" del Departamento de Educación (DOE).
Una demanda civil, respaldada el concejal Robert Jackson y cuatro representantes de alumnos del recinto, fue introducida esta semana para pelear la decisión del DOE de instalar una primaria al sobrepoblado edificio de la avenida Wadsworth, donde 97% de sus 676 estudiantes son hispanos y en su mayoría de origen dominicano.
"Fueron violados nuestros derechos, porque nunca dieron información en español ni consideraron nuestra opinión para decidir la coubicación", denunció ayer Janet Durán, una de las firmantes de la demanda durante una protesta a las puertas de la escuela. Original Text
